For Now

Just bathing in the sunset
Just waiting for the sunrise
Wearing a grey dawn
Before the light wakes in your eyes

Just fishing in my pockets
Just watching the birds fly
There are keys I lost
To love I stole on the sly

Just throwing my longings
Into the blue ocean
With all my belongings
Light, I'll join you...
In the sun

This is beautiful, sad and full of hope all at the same time.

Its amazing how the simple setting and rising of sun has thrown open this plethora of interpretations and given words to poets and authors world around! To a philosopher its life, to a mathematician its a sine curve and Juliet's mood it is, to Romeo. hehe..

Good work on a cute, lovely piece!

There is a sense of sadness but those things no longer bother you because you have found your peace somewhere else. The path that you thought you want to follow is no longer your path with a sense of a certain realization which is little muddy for now but enough to overcome the sense of sadness that changing the path by choice could have caused. In this new journey you are still holding on to what you gained until now...

You always say so much with so few a words. Something lost , something forgotten... thats what life is all about eh. Let the creative juices flow and you keep writing. This took a long time coming. :)
